TERMS & CONDITIONS 

1.  Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
2. The Promoters are Poppet Group Pty Ltd, PO Box 216, Camperdown NSW 1450, ABN 93 120 831 021 and Baby Buds Pty Ltd, 71 Dickson Ave, Artarmon NSW 2064 ABN 59 104 180 583 (“Promoters”).
3. Entry is open to all residents of Australia who are 18 years or older (“Eligible Entrants”) except for directors, employees and immediate families of the Promoters, associated companies and agencies.
4. The competition commences on 31 August at 9:00 am(AEDST) and closes on 31 October at 5:00 pm (AEDST) with last entry received (“Promotion Period”). 
5. Entry is open to all residents of Australia who are members of a mothers’ group.
6. Eligible Entrants must enter via the official competition online entry form on www.babybuds.com.au.
7. Only one online entry is allowed per mothers’ group.
8. To be eligible to enter, all entrants must upload a photo of their mothers’ group and fill in the required questions including the 250 words or less answer.
9. The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will be featured in My Child magazine’s summer 2011 issue and on www.babybuds.com.au.
10. The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will receive eight prize packs to split between the group, regardless of the number of people in the winning mothers’ group.
11. The total price value is $6,088.72. The prize includes a babybuds baby clothing and gift voucher pack valued at $2,000.00, Babymel Baby Change Mats valued at $392, Mums Secretes lotions valued at $716.80, Playgro Toys valued at $640, Munchkin Nappy Disposal System valued at $639.92, My Child Magazine subscription valued at $240, Contours Fitness Pack valued at $960 and a photo shoot valued at $500.
12. We reserve the right to change the specifics of the prize as required. The value of the prize will remain the same as the prize originally offered.
13. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
14. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
15. The overall winner will be chosen by a panel of judges on Tuesday November 1 2011. The judges are Charmaine Papallo, director of Babybuds, Lise Taylor, editor of My Child magazine and Karen Merange, CEO of Playgroup Australia.
16. Entries will be judged on (1) the explanations as to why the mothers like their mothers’ group and why they believe it to be great; and (2) the benefits that have flowed to members of the mothers’ group by being a member of that mothers’ group. This element of the competition is based on individual skill and chance plays no part in selecting the overall winner.
17. The winning mothers’ group will be notified on Tuesday November 1 2011 by phone.
18. The member who entered the winning mothers’ group will receive an email questionnaire on Tuesday November 1 2011. All questions must be answered and then emailed to My Child by 9:00am (AEDST) on Monday November 7 2011 for the group to be featured in the summer issue of My Child magazine.
19. By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Prize, including but not limited to being interviewed, photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the Prize and the Winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
20. The Promoters reserve the right (subject to applicable law) to award the prize to the next best valid entry, as determined by the judges, should the winner be unable to satisfy these promotion terms and conditions, forfeit their prize or fail to claim their prize within 24 hours of being notified that they are the winner.
21. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, and may not be combined with any other voucher or offer.
22. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters’ control, the Promoters may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
23. The Promoters, My Child magazine and Babybuds, their related bodies corporate and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss, and loss arising from negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
24. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged in transit.
25. The Promoters assume no responsibility for, and the entrant releases the Promoters from responsibility for, any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property (including computer systems and servers) as a result of the entrant’s participation in this promotion or the conduct of the promotion generally or as a direct or indirect result of entrant’s error, any technical problem of any kind including communications or network failure, unauthorised access to, tampering or theft of data, whether caused by the entrant or associated with the equipment or programming used in the conduct of this promotion. If, because of any such problem, this promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the promotion’s administration, security, fairness or integrity are corrupted or affected, the Promoters may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant regulatory body, and subject to applicable law) cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or disqualify any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the promotion.
26. All entries become the property of the Promoters. The name and photograph of the entrants and winners may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoters. Entrants consent to the Promoters using personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any prizes. All entries will be entered into the My Child magazine and the Babybuds databases and, subject to applicable law, the Promoter may use the winners’ names and addresses for future promotional and marketing purposes. Without limiting the foregoing, entrants’ personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoters’ Privacy Statement, a copy of which is available at mychildmagazine.com.au and babybuds.com.au.
27. The winners, for themselves and their executors, releases the Promoter, its agents, officers and employees, from any and all legal claims in connection with any death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses arising from or connected with the collection or enjoyment of the prize.
28. The Promoters will have six weeks from the drawing of the winning group for deliver of the prizes.
