Earlybirds was created in Australia in 2002 by Lynda Day.  The concept was created following the birth of her gorgeous son who was 10 weeks premature weighing 1.276kg.  She experienced enormous difficulty finding clothes to fit him in the first few months. To alleviate this problem for other parents and carers, Lynda developed a range of clothing specifically for premature and small babies.  After much research involving Paediatricians, NICU Specialists and of course parents, Earlybirds was born.

As premature babies needs are different, great care has been taken in selecting designs to ensure maximum comfort and ease of dressing.  The highest quality fabrics have been sourced and tested thoroughly.
